The Bond Eater is an Impurity introduced in Conception Plus: Maidens of the Twelve Stars. While it is not encountered in the labyrinths and is never fought in game, it plays a big role in Alfie's bonding route and is a dangerous creature in Granvania's history.
Appearance[]
The Bond Eater is a large white impurity with an appearance similar to a Sagitta. It has short arms and even shorter legs, but has large leaf-like ears. It has red eyes and large sharp jaws. It has a yellow star on its forehead.
Overview[]
The Bond Eater is a rare type of impurity that feeds on the "Bond Energy" formed between a God's Gift and the Star Maidens. It consumes Star Maidens to gain strength and once it eats them all, it will become unbelievably powerful. 30 years before the events of the game, the Bond Eater attacked the previous Star Maiden, but the previous God's Gift managed to fend it off. While it failed to kill anyone, it debilitated the Star Maiden in the process. It spent the next three decades resting and regaining its power until Alfie was transformed into a Star Maiden again. Once it awoke, it attacked a photographer until Itsuki, Alfie, and the Star Children found it. Alfie remembered the Bond Eater and wanted to kill it once and for all. Since she wasn't a Star Child anymore, she was powerless to do anything and was easily bested. The Star Children were also beaten with little issue. Itsuki along with the some Star Children that formed a Mecunite managed to fend it off, but was unable to kill it. When Mirei learned about the Bond Eater's return, she assembled a search party consisting of Star Children and elite mages to track it down so Itsuki can kill it. The team managed to locate it in the woods and Itsuki arrived shortly after. The two traded attacks until it seemed Itsuki was victorious. One of the Star Children tried to warn him that the impurity was ambushing him, but he was unable to avoid it. At the last moment, Alfie took the attack which gave Itsuki the opening he needed to kill the Bond Eater permanently.
