Farun, called Falun in the anime, is the Capricorn Star Maiden of Conception: Please Give Birth to My Child!!. She works as both a dancer and a waitress in a tavern. She is also essentially the main protagonist of the Conception Prologue Manga.
Overview[]
Before meeting Itsuki, she journeyed around various lands as a travelling dancer until she was chosen to be a Star Maiden. Without any home to return, she worked at Granvania's bar as their dancer. Not wanting to stay in one place, she cooperated along to save the world until she can start journeying again and finding her home destination.
The Capricorn Star Maiden and an avid traveling dancer. She never stays put in one place long enough to call it home. Now, however, she's stuck working at a bar in Granvania since she was chosen as a Star Maiden. She wants God's Gift to save the world already so she can get back to her travels. She also manages the optional quests you can complete.
Appearance[]
Normal Clothes: Farun has blue eyes and short turquoise hair on most of her head except for a portion in the back tied by a purple bow. She has elf-like ears and has a pink earring attached to both of them. She has gold pieces in her hair and has a gold piece on her necklace. A long black ribbon with blue and pink stripes near the ends is wrapped around her neck and extends most of the length of her arms. These ribbons can also be found as bracelets on both of her arms being held by a pink wrist guard with white circles on them. She wears a black bracelet with patterns that matches her wrist guard on her left arm, though it is only visible while she wears her swimsuit. Farun wears a pink top covered by another white cloth with a pink pattern on it with a black bra underneath it. Her arms are covered in white sleeves that have blue and pink stripes towards her hands. She wears short pink pants with long pink leggings with white floral patterns and white and blue stripes near the bottom held together by a purple belt with white buckles. Farun's shoes are the pink color that covers most of her body.
Swimsuit: Farun wears a pink bikini with black straps and outlines. The top of the breasts and the sides of the bottom half have black tassels held together by violet string. The sides of the breasts and the back right half of the bottom have a flower looking shape on them with four white petals.
Yukata: She wears a black yukata with a purple outline. Many flower looking shapes with four petals appear on the yukata and come in one of three colors. These include red, white, and violet. Some petals appear independent from the flowers. The center is held together by a violet obi. She also wears black zouri with white straps.

Farun comes off as a stereotypical old-fashioned tavern girl, fitting for her work. She likes to talk, loves receiving compliments, can be self-centered, and hates staying in one place for too long. She kind of views herself as responsible to her younger companions hence her self appointed nickname "Big Sis Farun". Since she is a dancer, she is also energetic and usually upbeat and tries to make others feel the same. She only really gets depressed when she wants to continue traveling but is unable to because of her duty. Because she travels so much, Farun has trouble forming relationships with others, whether romantic or platonic. Since she travels often and alone, there is not much time to bond with others. When she is close to forming a bond with someone, she leaves for another place so she doesn't know how that person truly feels about her and she fears being disliked by others.
After she left her parents to explore Granvania, she hasn't kept in contact with them until Itsuki helped her write letters to them. Out of all the Star Maidens, Farun is the most open with her feelings. She reveals her feelings to Itsuki quicker than anyone else and she usually doesn't try to hide them. She is also the most affectionate out of them all as well. The only time Farun gets nervous is when she's in an unfamiliar situation like when she traveled with someone else for the first time, let alone a man. After expressing her concerns to him, Farun manages to sort her feelings and manages to calm down. After developing feelings for Itsuki, her complacency for being alone disappears. She gets sad when Itsuki is not with her and she panics when she can't find him. Despite that, she feels she can be more honest towards him and usually visits him to help her with personal issues. He also learns Farun has a lower self esteem than her chipper personality would suggest. According to Tarua, Farun has the worst grades out of all of the Star Maidens.
Anime[]
In the Conception (anime), Falun's basic traits remain the same, but her bonding arc is mostly ignored. She is more self-centered compared to her game counterpart, but she still likes to get complimented and to talk. She is also described as being needy.

- Farun's hair was turquoise to make her stand out as a dancer as well as to help distinguish her from the other Star Maidens.
- Farun's outfit was supposed to look as if it came out of the 1980's.
- Similar to Femiruna, Farun was originally not going to be human. One of her early designs depicted her with fox-like ears and another shows she could've grown horns out of her head.
