Alfie running the Scavenger
The Scavenger is a place in both Granvania and Fort City in which God's Gift can send Star Children into labyrinths with the chance to retrieve items and equipment. It is ran by the Serious Star Child.
You can send up to three Star Children at a time to any labyrinth or sub labyrinth that you have cleared. The cost to send a Star Child and the rewards you can receive depend on the labyrinth you wish for them to explore. After sending them off, you can claim them after exiting a labyrinth to receive any spoils they collected, though you can retrieve them at any time. In Conception: Please Give Birth to My Child!! and Conception Plus: Maidens of the Twelve Stars, you can choose which Star Children to send out while in Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars, the game will select three among your available Star Children based on the Labyrinth you wish to explore. In both games, they are not initially available and will be unlocked when your city's level is high enough. Increasing it further will upgrade it further.
Some items are easier to find via Scavenging and though it is more costly than just exploring a floor and hoping to find the items you want, it is arguably much faster too.
