Star Energy (星の力) is the magic inhabited in the citizens of Granvania and Another Terra. Depending on the game, its magic that either aids the citizens in their daily life and can also serve as life energy to the user.
In Conception: Please Give Birth to My Child!! and Conception Plus: Maidens of the Twelve Stars, Star Energy was the basis of how human life on Granvania came to be. While not existing on Sora, it is referred to as magic on that world. There is no exact limit to what can be achieved with Star Energy, but it has a wide array of uses. In gameplay, it is what allows Itsuki Yuge and the Star Children to cast spells and use elemental attacks. Others have used it to do things like reinforce restraints and locks, change one's appearance, cause dizziness to those nearby, use long-distance communication, view the inside of one's body to check for injuries, and remove powerful magical enchantments. To the denizens of Granvania, Star Energy also acts as one lifeforce. Everyone is born with a limited amount of Star Energy from birth and when they run out of it, they will die. Becuase of this, dark forces tend to try to steal the Star Energy from the weak and vulnerable. The mob takes Star Energy from those in the slums to sell at a high price. The Kingdom created Star Energy Circles to harvest energy from the Academy's students to create Star Fragments. Star Fragments are used to amplify the effects of the Star Wards so more Impurities are absorbed. Though from Sora, Itsuki and Mahiru can use Star Energy and don't seem to be effected from the life draining setbacks.
In Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars, Star Energy is also akin to magic, but it is not as integral to the citizens of Aterra unlike the first game. Like the first game, Star Energy is used by Wake Archus, the Heroines, and the Star Children to fight Impurities and allow them to use skills. It also has many practical uses like detecting those who are hidden, healing those attending a concert, modifying once appearance, and powering vehicles. Unlike those from Granvania, Star Energy doesn't seem to be one's lifeforce. It also can't be used in the Dusk Circles unless your a God's Gift due to their high ether count or if the user has access to the Dark element like Feene Glass.
Star Energy allows the denizens of Aterra and Granvania to use elemental attacks. The six elements are Fire, Water, Earth Wind, Dark, and Light.
