Star Wards

The Star Wards (星授, Seijyuu) (Star Offerings in English) are the 12 astrological powers that align the celestial order of Granvania in Conception: Please Give Birth to My Child!!.

Description

Following the 12 constellations, the Star Wards are divided into 12 and stored within the deepest recess of the Stardust Labyrinths. Granvania has 12 gods each governing a constellation, to which each ward receives divine protection and the power to absorb Impurities. But the Star Wards will eventually lose power after going through a celestial mechanism called Star Tour (星の巡り, Hoshi no Meguri) (Star Chaos in English).

Up till now, the details of the circulation above have yet to be realized, only to be said as "a predetermined fate set up by the gods" written in the ancient documents. Through every 120 years, the 12 wards loses power and desynchronize a decade off Granvania's calendar. Once a ward of that constellation lose power, those born under are force to vomit out the impurities to which the labyrinth cannot absorb, and eventually attack people. To prevent such chaos, the God's Gift will be summoned to Granvania every 10 years when the Star Ward loses its power.

• Lillie revealed to the patrons of Farun's tavern the Star Wards are made from an embarrassing part of a Star Maiden. Though it is never revealed what that is, Reone confirmed it was true and it was something that made the customers flee the building.
