Unraveling Ceremony Events are a type of main event introduced in Conception: Please Give Birth to My Child!! and its remake Conception Plus: Maidens of the Twelve Stars. Itsuki Yuge learned about the existence of the Ophiuchus Labyrinth and the Star Maidens were taught the spell needed to open it called the Unraveling Ceremony. Before the Unraveling Ceremony commenced, Itsuki was tasked with checking up on the Star Maidens(minus Alfie). While the player can only view five in a single playthrough, this page has the summaries of every single event.

Unraveling Ceremony Events[]
Arie[]

Itsuki went to see Arie who was in the middle of praying. She was praying for Itsuki's safety since the Impurities from the Ophiuchus Labyrinth are more dangerous than the ones he faced before. Since the Star God was watching over them, she was a bit more relieved. Itsuki felt more confident being under the Star God's watch since he believes that fortune is a rod for the weak. Arie has never heard of that before and Itsuki informed her that was an expression from Sora meaning he was glad to have such strong allies on his side. Though she was happy for him, she was aware the 13th Phantom would not be beaten so easily and required both his and Mahiru's power to seal it. Arie had a bad feeling about how things would go and she fears the two would never see each other again. Though she realized she was being really negative, she decided to put her faith in the Star God. Itsuki assured her he would win and seal the 13th Phantom which lifted her spirits. Itsuki left and Arie appreciated his visit.
Tarua[]

Itsuki went to see Tarua who was worried about Itsuki's safety. She overheard the Ophiuchus Labyrinth was a dangerous place, but he was confident he could handle things. He thought Tarua was nervous about performing the ritual and after putting on a façade, she admitted she was. She hadn't learned how to perform the ceremony like everyone else and wished it involved running. Itsuki informed her that he ran a lot in the labyrinths which caused her to wish she was in the labyrinths with him and not as a Star Maiden. He didn't want her to get into any trouble and hoped she would do her best as a Star Maiden. She agreed to do that, but wanted him to make a promise to her that he would run away if things got too tough since he wasn't allowed to die. The two made a pinky promise to seal the deal. Though he thought the song Mahiru taught Tarua was pretty extreme, he knew that promise they made can't be broken. Itsuki was ready to leave and wished her luck. Tarua promised to do her best.
Lillith/Lillie[]

Itsuki went to see Lillith who was doing a reading. She was trying to see if the Unraveling Ceremony would be a success and she saw it would go off without any problems. She also wanted to do a reading on Itsuki's fate and he thought that was a good idea. After Lillith did the reading, she seemed troubled and Lillie appeared as a result. She informed him that Lillith seemed rather shocked and she figured it was because of the result of his fortune, but she didn't know what it was. Lillie was worried about Itsuki's safety since he was going into the Ophiuchus Labyrinth, but he was more interested in the results of his fortune. While Lillie never told him what it said, she only asserted that she was the only thing allowed to cause him pain. Though Itsuki was confused about what she was saying, she ultimately wanted him to come back alive. Itsuki thought she was worried about the ceremony, but he realized that wasn't the case. She thought he should be more concerned about himself and he was ready to leave. Lillie assured Itsuki she doesn't hate him and she confesses he's fun to tease.
Ruka[]

Itsuki went to see Ruka who was mumbling to herself. He asked why she had such a stark expression on her face and she had no idea what he was talking about since there was no reason for her to be nervous. After he asked why she was mumbling to herself, she revealed she was trying to concentrate so she wouldn't mess up the spell. She admitted she was nervous and asked why he was talking to her since he probably has more important things to do. Since the Ophiuchus Labyrinth was more dangerous than the previous labyrinths, she wanted him to prepare for when the ceremony commenced. Itsuki confessed she was worried about Ruka which made her flustered. Though she thought he had an alternative motive, he told her that wasn't the case. She was confused why he cared about her since he was the one who could possibly die. Itsuki believed he would return alive and Ruka promised to never forgive him if he died. She tried to hide her concern since Itsuki's survival would determine the fate of Granvania. He promised her he wouldn't die and she begrudgingly agreed he would probably survive. She admitted if he didn't promise to come back to her, she would intentionally botch the ceremony. Ruka felt better after raising her voice and Itsuki left to do something else.
Femiruna[]

Itsuki went to see Femiruna who seemed to be resting. She asked why he had come to see her and he figured she wasn't nervous in the slightest. Though she was confused at the notion, Itsuki wanted to check up on her regardless. Femiruna thought the idea that she would be nervous was funny and she explained she was meditating to increase her concentration. Since she seemed okay, he was ready to leave, but she stopped him. She thought it was rude of him to drop in on a lady and immediately leave. Femiruna admitted she was worried about Itsuki. Even though he would be aided by the Star Children they created, she was aware the Ophiuchus Labyrinth was more dangerous than the previous dungeons and the 13th Phantom was difficult to beat without Mahiru's help. Femiruna detests how powerless she was, but Itsuki reminds her the only reason he got to this point is because of her and the Star Children they created. She hints that she would be devastated if something happened to Itsuki, but she never conveyed that to him. She wanted to meditate in peace and he agreed to respect her wishes.
Mahiru[]

Itsuki went to see Mahiru who was confused why he came to see her. He asked if she was nervous about the Unraveling Ceremony and she claimed to be fine. She then asked how he was doing since he was about to take on the Ophiuchus Labyrinth and he was confident things would go well. Mahiru was glad to see him in high spirits, but questioned if sealing the 13th Phantom would really allow them to go home. Itsuki asked if she was informed about how to seal it and she knew the sealing ceremony was needed to permanently stop it. Her job was to simply cast the spell at Narcisstes's signal and she asked what he was tasked to do. He didn't give her an answer and she thought he wasn't paying attention to her, though she teased him to not make her worry about him so much. He apologized for that, but she forgave him since they would get to go home after all this. Mahiru wanted to know what Itsuki would do when they got back and he had no idea what to do. Since neither knew what to do, they agreed to think of something they could do together. Mahiru needed to get ready so she asked him to check up on the other Star Maidens and he agreed to visit them. Mahiru felt much better after talking to Itsuki
Mirei[]

Itsuki went to see Mirei who was confused why he came to see her. He explained he came to see how she was doing since she was in charge of the Star Maidens. She was certain things would go smoothly, but she appreciated his concern. Mirei was more concerned about him since the Impurity energy coming from the Ophiuchus Labyrinth was incomparable to anything that came before it. Itsuki thought she was saying he was unprepared, but she clarified she was saying the opposite. The 13th Phantom was stronger than anything he faced before, but she believed that was relatively speaking. Itsuki thought he would be okay with the Star Children they made together, but she was concerned since she was told so little about how the sealing ceremony would happen. Not even Narcisstes was informed of the method so Mirei hoped Itsuki had some insight since she had a strange feeling from this. The only thing he knew was that he and Mahiru had to perform the ritual together. She wanted him to inform her if he learned anything else and to not tell Narcisstes of her inquiries. Mirei sensed doubt in Itsuki's voice, but he assured her he felt fine. She then reassured him his chances of survival were high and Itsuki was surprised Mirei cheered him up when he was trying to do that to her. Since she needed to get prepared, Itsuki left to do something else.
Reone[]

Itsuki went to see Reone who thought he came to see her for medical treatment. Itsuki told her he came to check on her and wanted to know if she was nervous for the Unraveling Ceremony. She thought the other Star Maidens would get worried if they saw how he looked. She figured he had death on his mind and Itsuki didn't like how she phrased it. She offered to pat his tummy or kiss his booboos, but he was annoyed he was being treated like a baby. Reone wanted Itsuki to come to her if he had any problems and he told her he was just a little nervous about the new labyrinth. After staring at his face, Reone wanted to "relieve his tension" but did it anyway against his protests. While what she did helped him relax, he was clearly not comfortable with what she did. Reone assured Itsuki she would be fine and she wanted him to massage the other Star Maidens. He was ready to go and she asked him to seal the 13th Phantom so they could continue where they left off.
Sue[]

Itsuki went to see Sue who was lost in thought. He was curious if she was worried about the Unraveling Ceremony, but she was fine aside for being concerned about her animals. She hoped things would go quickly so she can reunite with them and that made sense to Itsuki. Sue confessed she would be waiting for him to fulfill his mission so they could see each other again too. She heard the Ophiuchus Labyrinth was going to be tough, but she believed he would be fine. She was confident he would come back and he agreed with her. Sue promised to let Itsuki pet one of her especially fluffy animals when he comes back, but she was worried this might be the only promise Itsuki wouldn't keep. Itsuki affirmed that he would keep his promise so she didn't need to worry. He made sure she was ready for the Unraveling Ceremony and left not long after.
Farun[]

Itsuki went to see Farun who was pleasantly surprised to see him. She was curious why he came to see her though she believed there didn't necessarily need to be a reason for them to meet. He reminded her the Unraveling Ceremony was coming up and he came to see if she was nervous. She was shocked and appalled he would think she would be nervous since she has men watching her most of the day. She thought he was looking down on her, but he was pleased that wasn't the case and was ready to leave. She told him to stay with her so they could chat and to grab a chair(but there were none around). Itsuki could tell Farun was anxious but she still tried to deny it to the point their friendship would end if he continued to prod her. Itsuki decided to give up and realized she was pretty stubborn. She thought he should be more concerned about himself since the next labyrinth was really dangerous. Itsuki believed he had enough experience to succeed. She still had her doubts, but figured he would be fine. Farun wanted him to get ready for the ceremony and he told her to relax. She was in a brighter mood after talking to Itsuki.
Collette[]

Itsuki went to see Collette who graciously gave him some cornbread for free. He was surprised she would bake bread just before the ceremony, but she felt now was the perfect time. Collette feels the most concentrated when facing an oven and she gets into a trance when stroking some flames. He realized she made a pun by referring to burning as "loafing" before she analogizes his love for her to her love of flames. Itsuki was under the impression she wasn't nervous, but she clarified she kind of was. Collette feels a bit of tension can be beneficial sometimes though she believes the kind of tension Itsuki feels was not similar to receiving a first kiss. He thought she was making up stories about him, but she was surprised he never found his first love. He clarified that as happened to him. Collette asks why he came to see her, but she figured he missed her. She thought she was his first love but Itsuki thought Collette was too carefree for her own good sometimes. She admitted to saying those things because she was nervous. She knew he was worried about her and though she appreciated his concern, she assured him she was perfectly fine. Itsuki thanked her for the bread and he was ready to go, but Collette wanted him to be careful before entering the new labyrinths. She assured him she would be here if he needed her.
Yuzuha[]

Itsuki went to see Yuzuha who looked worried. She knew the Unraveling Ceremony was starting soon and she had doubts she could do her part. He thought she would do fine, but she still felt she could make a mistake. He offered to give her a good luck charm to relieve nervousness and she was surprised something like that even existed. She questioned if it would even work on her since she was really concerned, but he assured her this charm was made especially for her. Yuzuha was ready to receive it but Itsuki wanted her to draw a portrait of him instead. Once she finished it, she asked for Itsuki's opinion of it and he thought it was great as usual. She wanted to give it to him and asked about the charm. He asked if she was still nervous and she realized her fears had mostly vanished. Itsuki revealed that was the charm since concentrating on things you like can dispel worries. She thought that made sense because she drew a picture of Itsuki whom she liked a lot, but tried to hide what she said. She also noticed this wasn't really much of a charm, but he didn't want her to sweat the details. Itsuki was ready to go and Yuzuha thanked him for cheering her up.
